I've known Daniel for 5 years. He's an awesome captain....he's true to his word and he is kind. He was one of the first to offer me fish, seafood. Anything he caught and would drop off when I was diagnosed with cancer! He's a great family man and super cool dad! Definitely can catch fish!!!!

Went out on the 28th of April and had a blast! Caught my first ever wahoo and got my limit as well! Dan is by far the best captain I’ve dealt with so far and I highly recommend taking a trip with him, he’s very knowledgeable, accommodating, laid back, and the best price so you definitely get the bang for your buck! His mate Austin is awesome, always has fresh bait and new rigs to swap out and reloads the bait as soon as a fish is landed and sends it right back out to stay in the action. I’ve been out with him twice now and I plan on going plenty this coming summer!

Bad fish charters is the only charter ill use when I visit Topsail. He goes above and beyond to make sure my family catches fish. We book him every year now since another local charter took our money amd never showed up. Caught a lot of trout

I booked a trip with capt Dan and had an amazing experience! Lots of fun on the water, we came home with a ton of fish in the cooler and Dan was great at entertaining the whole group. Would definitely book again!

I have been on several fishing trips with capt Dan, and there is one thing that consistently happens; a cooler full of the freshest meat 😃. I have several first time catches with Badfish, and Capt Dan is a stand up guy who really cares about his clients and takes just as much joy in them catching fish as they do. I personally call capt Dan the Grouper King, but he has also put me on mountains of Wahoo, Hog fish and and many others spices that I have caught previously. Sign up for a trip and I promise you will not be disappointed. As a side note, I’ll also sing the praises of Austin as you have to have a good first mate, and he is one of the best I have ever chartered with! Constantly on the go preparing for the main event, which sets him up nicely to make quick transitions to get the line(s) back in the water and on the fish. Just as important, he didn’t loose a single fish at the back of the boat (hope I don’t curse him by calling this out lol). 100% recommend, and I hope to meet some of you out there as I will definitely be back

Weather was rough but this cap still put us on and took us out. Daniel and his first mate Austin showed us a good time. Only saw two other boat out there. This guy knows his stuff. We will be booking again soon for grouper.
