I have been on several fishing trips with capt Dan, and there is one thing that consistently happens; a cooler full of the freshest meat 😃. I have several first time catches with Badfish, and Capt Dan is a stand up guy who really cares about his clients and takes just as much joy in them catching fish as they do. I personally call capt Dan the Grouper King, but he has also put me on mountains of Wahoo, Hog fish and and many others spices that I have caught previously. Sign up for a trip and I promise you will not be disappointed. As a side note, I’ll also sing the praises of Austin as you have to have a good first mate, and he is one of the best I have ever chartered with! Constantly on the go preparing for the main event, which sets him up nicely to make quick transitions to get the line(s) back in the water and on the fish. Just as important, he didn’t loose a single fish at the back of the boat (hope I don’t curse him by calling this out lol). 100% recommend, and I hope to meet some of you out there as I will definitely be back

I have been fishing with Badfish for around 5 years now, by far the best charter I’ve ever used and the most fun, Capt Dan will put you on the fish, you may not get what you were targeting but you will most likely come home with a cooler full, he never stops until you are on the fish, sometimes going hours longer, go fish with the future “ G.O.A.T.” book your trip now!

Always a blast fishing with Capt Daniel I’ve been fishing with Daniel Powell for years now and I always have a blast and catch some nice fish everytime he has came along way since I’ve met him I met him when he was mating and was always helpful now he has to very nice comfortable boat and man stays on the fish book with badfish charters

We had a absolute wonderful time. Daniel kept us on fish all day. Conditions were terrible but he captain the boat good enough that even the bad swells didnt phase us. Hands down, one of the best trips i have personally been on.

Most fish I have ever caught on a trip in my life! We had so many bonito, blue fish and mackerel, we had to ask Dan to go chase bigger fish. Boy did he deliver on a great day! His 1st mate, Austin, was fantastic. Book it!

Absolutely wonderful. Went out for Tuna but they hadn’t come super close in yet so we took advantage of the bottom fishing. There is no one better in the industry than Daniel Powell at bottom fishing. Absolutely recommend and look forward to rebooking with him. My wife is a disabled veteran and he made her feel very accommodated.

This is the second time my 10 year old daughter has been out with Daniel. He is extremely understanding and beyond patient. He and his mate, Zach, are excellent watermen. Daniel and Zach were a pleasure to fish with! Although it took a little time to find the fish, they stayed upbeat, were so helpful, and kept us all engaged, especially our two teenage grandsons. Once we started getting bites, they were quick to assist, making sure we reeled them in and had a blast! Full of knowledge and great conversation, they were especially encouraging to our boys. We’ll definitely book with them again!
