Great Atlantic Bonito fishing continues as the water temp is holding in the low 60s nearshore. This walk on trip was one of the best bites I've seen in a long time! We got close to 90 fish in just 5 hours trolling within 8 miles of shore! All target species, not seeing much bi catch right now, but as the water warms up we will transition into Spanish mackerel and king mackerel fishing on our half days, then live bait fishing for cobia, king mackerel and amberjack! 
Grouper season starts may 1st and we are super excited for that as well!

It was shaping up to be a banner day offshore with Cassidy on our North Carolina Deep Sea Fishing Charters | Full Day Offshore Charters In Sneads Ferry. The forecast couldn't have been better - perfect weather and great water conditions, ideal for targeting a variety of hard-fighting pelagic and reef species. As we set out from the dock, I couldn't wait to put Cassidy on some serious offshore action.

We started the day with some deep-sea jigging, working a mix of heavy and light tackle in search of the big ones. The fish were fired up, hammering our baits as we covered different depths and structure. It wasn't long before we had a ripping run, Cassidy's rod doubling over as a powerful King Mackerel peeled line. After an epic tussle, we finally eased that beauty into the boat. Next up, we switched it up with some trolling, deploying kites to work live baits at varying levels. The bite stayed steady, and we soon added some tasty Snapper, Grouper, and Mahi Mahi to the fish box. 

As the day went on, the fishing just kept getting better. Cassidy was on fire, handling each fish with skill and confidence. Whether it was the lightning-fast Mahi Mahi, the bulldogging Snapper, or the broad-shouldered Grouper, she took them all in stride. In between bites, we'd admire the beautiful North Carolina coastline and enjoy the camaraderie of a group truly dialed into the offshore experience.
